What is a refractor?

USA a refractor lens to the image. Refracting telescopes are designed for use in - rear window view, but also in other devices such as binoculars and telephoto camera lenses.

There are two principles that refractor, lens and lens. Both the light of the human eye and focus on this and contribute to a better, clearer and more virtual image. Curves of light for the camera refract light beams parallel to another in a central location.

Galileo telescopes sighted telescopes. Galileo was in 1608 with the design and implementation curve concave lens and ocular lens. The object larger Galilean telescope of thirty times. Galileo's telescope the first telescope to see the planet Jupiter and the moon.

For Keplerian telescope, by Johannes Kepler in 1611 created the Galileo project. Keplerian telescope that USA convex lens concave lens is not Galileo. Which allows different areas to see a larger view and range. But the point is introverted.

Refractive lens to bring the color, the first in 1733. Is to use a long focal length and two pieces of glass with a different distribution to limit the effects of curvature and chromatic grotesque. Each section of each part of the earth is made of smooth glass and after the two pieces of glass were installed. Achromats wavelengths and two focused on the same level.
